    Prenatal Care Costs

Medical appointments, monitoring, and tests during pregnancy. These costs are usually billed monthly or per visit.

    What is included

Prenatal care includes regular OB-GYN visits, blood tests, ultrasounds, glucose screening, and other routine monitoring. In surrogacy arrangements, these costs are typically covered by insurance or paid directly by the intended parents.

    Cost structure

Without insurance, prenatal care in the United States can cost $2,000 to $5,000 for a low-risk pregnancy. High-risk pregnancies or those requiring specialist consultations cost more.
