    What Is a Surrogacy Coordinator?

A surrogacy coordinator is the person responsible for keeping the process moving. They organize communication between the intended parents, the surrogate, the fertility clinic, and the legal teams, and help manage scheduling and logistics throughout the pregnancy.

    Why it matters

Surrogacy involves many moving parts. The coordinator helps keep those parts connected.

How it fits into the process

The coordinator is often the main point of contact during the active stages of the journey.

    What people usually misunderstand

A coordinator does not make legal decisions or provide medical treatment. Their role is operational.
